I am so grateful to be able to have my passion be my job! Meeting all different families, capturing their smiles, being part of them interacting as a family and freezing it in time — magical!
Before every photoshoot I usually receive a lot of questions from my clients. So I decided to gather all the tips I find useful and I hope this information will help you and make our photoshoot more calm and comfortable.
Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on camera is captured forever.
We’ll chat via WhatsApp or email and discuss all the details about your photoshoot - who will be included and any information you feel I would need to know. All this information is very helpful for me so that we make sure we are on the same page and everything will go smoothly on photo shoot day.
Week of the photo shoot
We will confirm the date, time and meeting place where we will meet at Delta Park.
Photo shoot day
The photo shoot day has come and your main task is to enjoy it fully, interact lovingly with your family with no worries, and know you’ll get awesome pictures afterwords!
After the photo shoot, I will send you some sneak peek images!
I work hard on a very short turn around time for my edited digital images, between 1-2 weeks. Prints and products will take an additional 2 weeks after placing the order.
I will guide you through the ordering process once your gallery is up.
Please let me know if you are happy with me posting the images on my online platforms. I love showing off my beautiful families I photograph!
Family Photoshoot Checklist
Here you can find the list of family photo combinations to keep in mind for the family portraits. This is based on a standard family with two parents and two children. That is why it is important to let me know who will all be joining in the session so I can plan the combinations beforehand. *While I try to get all combinations, I focus on getting full family photos and then go with the lead of the family on the session day.

Delta Park is big, and there are so many beautiful spots to have as the background of your photoshoot! I will send you the pin of the parking lot we will meet at - and then be prepared for a little walk to the great photo spots!
We love the glowing beautiful sunshine - but overcast days are great too (the clouds act as a giant soft box). We will continue our photo session unless it rains. We will then reschedule the session.
What To Wear
I will do my best to give you clothing advice for the session - so feel free to ask! The main tip I have is to rather co-ordinate your family's outfit rather than match identically. Please try stay away from big logos, or cartoon characters.
I want you to look back at the photos, and feel like the images are completely "you"! I don't want you going out and buying fancy clothes that look photograph worthy, but don't represent or feel like you!
Please contact me if anyone in your family isn't feeling well. We will keep in contact and reschedule the session date for another date when you are all well. I will do the same.
I wear my mask at all times during the photoshoot, sanitise, limit contact and keep my distance by being behind my camera!
